RICHARD BEALE
Richard graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University in 1988, having previously completed a science degree.
Following graduation, he gained clinical experience in practices in Hamilton, Tauranga, Napier and Auckland before establishing his own practice with his wife and business partner, Louisa Cullen, in 1998.
Dental technology has long held an interest for Richard and in the last five years CEREC dentistry has enabled him to increase the treatment options available to patients.
LOUISA CULLEN
Louisa graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University in 1991. She spent a year as a house surgeon at Wellington and Lower Hutt hospitals before moving to Auckland. While in Auckland she worked for several practices including Dental One under Allen Baker the “Ten Years Younger” dentist.
Louisa has developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry including Zoom Tooth Whitening. Her knowledge and expertise in the area has been sought by TV3’s Campbell Live and by Denyse Saunders for her Sky TV Beauty programme.
Both Louisa and Richard are members of a Dental Study Group made up of like minded dental professionals that regularly host speakers and hold clinical discussions.
JOANNE PETERS
Joanne is the front office manager at Beale & Cullen and is the first point of contact for all our patients. She is an expert at co-ordinating your busy schedule with ours and ensuring everyone’s day runs smoothly.
SARAH HENDRY & VALICIA VETTE
Sarah and Valicia are the clinical assistants at the practice. Valicia has over 20 years experience, while Sarah is new to dentistry and currently completing the NZDA Dental Assistant’s course with outstanding results. Their role is to work with the dentists to ensure your comfort throughout your appointment while also maintaining strict infection control protocols.
